Great opportunity to join a great team and employer: The person selected to fill this position will be expected to be familiar with the hardware and the process programs of the PLC and HMI systems, be able to modify or enhance these systems, or develop new systems, including vendor or Company supplied systems. Familiarity with hardware and software systems of the lumber recovery optimization computers, scanners, and setworks and motion control systems is essential. Including the operational features of the systems to insure the machinery is operating with optimal efficiency. Assist technicians with installation and start-up of vendor supplied and internally supplied new systems or system upgrades. They will also assist the mill operations QC personnel regarding tuning and measuring performance. Responsible for all PLC process and automation systems and optimizers.
