Geotech Engineer

in Job Postings

We have a terrific opportunity for a rare individual. Our client is both great, and choosy. They seek a California licensed, mid- to upper-level Geotechnical Engineer for their office in Humboldt County: someone to build this part of the practice; someone who is comfortable in both the field and the office; someone who has excellent communication skills with multiple groups, including contractors in the field who are key stakeholders. A successful G.E. in this environment must be adept at a variety of investigation, stabilization and mitigation strategies for unstable slopes and soils in a wet, seismically active region. The Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for project development, management, and execution; staff development; and client interaction. Project scopes vary from modest municipal projects to critical structures in dynamic geologic environments. The company provides a strong compensation and benefits package, with excellent opportunities for advancement within their multiple-location structure.
